BSNL New SIM Promotional Offer at RS 51

A few days back, the government-owned telecom operator BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) had announced a special SIM Promotional offer, under which new subscribers can get a new connection at Rs 51 only. To avail the benefit of the offer, they have to either visit the BSNL Customer Service Center (CSC) or BSNL-authorized retailers.

BSNL Launched Rs 51 New SIM Promotional Offer

The telco has announced its new offer by sharing a post on its X profile. Under this offer, the new users will get 2 GB of 4G high-speed data per day, unlimited voice calling, and 100 SMS per day. The plan comes with a service validity of 28 days, and the users just have to pay Rs 51 to enjoy all the benefits.

The offer remains valid from 22 May to 30 June 2026, and those interested can avail the benefits by visiting the nearest CSC or the authorized outlets during the mentioned timeline. The telco has launched the offer with a tagline of “Flip the network on – One simple start, and the network becomes yours,” which is yet to be seen how it goes for BSNL.

If the odds work out for BSNL, then the offer can be a game-changer, especially in terms of new subscriber addition. However, the reality might be very different from expectations, as the company is still struggling to provide a reliable 4G network nationwide.

Amid the waves of priority networks from private telecom operators, BSNL has also begun to promote its quality and premium user experience to make new users feel comfortable about network reliability.

Keep in mind that BSNL is still rolling out and expanding its 4G network throughout pan-India and doesn’t provide 5G services to the users. However, once the rollout completes and the network becomes stable, then the telco will upgrade the existing cell towers to 5G with minor changes.
