BSNL ₹251 Plan Details – 100GB Data and a lot more!

The State-owned telecom operator BSNL(Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) has recently rolled out a new tariff plan for its customers. The plan comes at such a price point that it makes it practically impossible for the private players to compete. The plan offers 100GB of 4G data while costing a minimum of ₹251.

Previously, the plan was discontinued by the operator, but its immense popularity forced to relaunch it for its customers. Not just the data, the plan also offers a BiTV subscription, which is an OTT platform, so the user can get entertained while enjoying the plan.

The Rs 251 plan offers 28 days of validity along with unlimited calls, 100GB 4G Data, and 100 SMS per day. Last but not least, subscription to BiTV (OTT) for 30 days is absolutely free. If we calculate how much it costs per day, then it comes out to be ₹9 (Approx.) per day.

After all the investment the BSNL has made in its 4G network, these kinds of offers can lure the customer, which will help the teleco to increase its subscriber base. However, the network quality varies from place to place; still, it’s a boon for those customers who have decent 4G coverage.

Another major reform by BSNL is its method of boarding new customers. Previously, the subscriber had to fill out a form and give it to the CSC Centers. The whole process used to take around 3-4 days, which was another ban for the company. But now, BSNL has developed its own platform, which makes the onboarding of new customers a lot easier through E-KYC.

Now, in less than an hour, the SIM is activated, and users can enjoy the services without any further delay. The current government is focusing on ways that make the comeback of the BSNL faster and stronger. BSNL 5G is also expected to launch in selected cities in late 2026, which is good news for its users.
