VI Offering Unlimited Data with Postpaid Plans

The third largest operator in India, Vodafone Idea, has started offering unlimited data with their individual plan, especially for postpaid customers. Currently the telco is offering this lucrative plan in some selected circles only. Keep in mind that this is not the first time the telco is doing something like this. The company launches these plans to attract new users to increase their customer base and revenue.

The monthly cycle plan starts from Rs 451 and goes up to 1201. Users can choose any plan based on their interest and enjoy the unlimited data benefits. But there’s a catch: the plan comes with a monthly capping of 300 GB, which means once you have crossed the limit, the speed will be reduced to 64 kbps until the next month begins. Airtel has also introduced something like this. But that one also comes with the same monthly capping.

The company is trying its best to sell off its postpaid plans to the user so that they can build a loyal subscriber base that will pay them irrespective of the usage. Besides the unlimited data, the plans also provide access to the OTT, which means a perfect way to binge-watch and utilize the data.

The website of VI has already been updated, which means users just have to pay and enjoy the benefits. VI is one of the best telcos when it comes to premium, high-paying postpaid users, and adding such a plan will only increase their brand value and active subscribers. Jio is the only telco that has not offered anything like this to its users.
