Airtel Introduced Unlimited Data Plans For Its Postpaid Users

Airtel, the 2nd largest telecom operator after Jio, has also launched its unlimited data plans for its postpaid plans. Why does it matter? Initially this plan was launched in some selected circles. But as of now, the plan has been launched in more telecom circles so the users can enjoy it. The move aims to increase the company’s ARPU and high-paying premium users.

The base plan starts from Rs 449 (without GST) and goes as high as Rs 1749 (without GST). Keep in mind that Airtel doesn’t offer truly unlimited data like Jio; there is a monthly cap of 300 GB, which comes under the commercial fair usage policy. VI also offers such plans where they offer unlimited data with the monthly capping of 300 GB. Jio is the only telecom operator in India that offers unlimited 4G + 5G data to its users if they have a postpaid connection and plan of Rs 649.

As per the rumors, VI is also offering unlimited data to its postpaid users but in some selected circles. Now it’s a matter of time before every telecom operator in India will make it either a bare minimum or a complementary benefit with their premium plan, especially for the postpaid users.
